I've been trying to cut back on the comforty-carby foods that I love. Lately, carbs have been appealing to my weaker side, so I'm working even harder at eliminating them from my refrigerator and pantry.
Last night, I needed something refreshing, light and healthy --- but that still appealed to my taste buds. I try to add something with a pop of color and/or heightened flavor, to make a super healthy dish feel special. I added "black sesame seeds" to my wedge salad to give me the balanced color I like to see on my plate. I made this yummy WEDGE SALAD. It totally hit the spot!
